Wonderful walking

If you love walking you'll love this area. With an impressive rights of way network & plenty of open hills to wander, Radnorshire is hard to beat.

Seven minutes walk from the front door is Offas Dyke National Trail. This 177 mile route along the old English-Welsh border draws walkers from all over the world.

If we are available we are always happy to offer a lift to the starting point of your walks.

Brilliant  biking

Cruising
If you fancy peddling along the lanes we have 4 bikes you can hire. We have a map with picturesque trails marked on that start from the front door. The cost is £12 per day per bike, includes helmets.

Mountain
East Radnorshire has the highest density of bridleways & legal green lanes in Britain. Here you can travel across miles of open hill, moorland & single tracks with the buzzards & red kites soaring above.

Bucknell woods (7 miles away) has a downhill track. We have maps & routes available to help you explore Nash Woods, just a mile down the road.

If you like the idea of a guided bike tour - mountain or road, you can pop to Dream Pedallers in Presteigne who also undertake repairs and hire out mountain bikes.

Visit the Rough Rides website for many routes in the area.
