Wild Meadow is a Limited Company run by Andrea and Jonathan Gilpin.

Your privacy is important to us, and in this statement we explain what personal data we collect and how we use it.

How we collect your data

We collect data from you when you sign up for our newsletter, provide your details when booking a holiday with us or if you attend one of our scything courses.

 

What data we hold

The data we hold may include any or all of the following:

Email address

Postal address

Telephone number
 

Where we hold it

We collect your name and e-mail address when you opt into our e-newsletter list. This data is held in Mail Chimp.

We also collect the above data when you book a holiday with us in order to contact you with details and directions. This is held on the secure Holiday Live booking system.

 

The basis on which we hold your data

We hold individuals’ data on the basis of consent.  We must make clear to you how we are going to use your data and we cannot use it for any other reason than the one/s you have agreed to.

We hold data belonging to companies and other organisations on the basis of legitimate interest. 

 

How we use your data

We use your data for the purpose for which it was originally collected e.g. to send you our newsletter or to notify you of details and directions to Wild Meadow .

 

Your rights

Everyone has the right to see what data we hold for them.  An access request must be acknowledged as soon as possible and complied with free of charge within one month.  This time may very occasionally be extended in exceptional circumstances, but in this case you must be notified of the extension and the reason for it within the one month window.

Individuals can request that their data is updated or removed at any time.   If you wish to raise a complaint on how we have handled your personal data, you can contact us and we will investigate the matter.

If you are not satisfied with our response, or believe we are processing your personal data not in accordance with the law, you can complain to the information Commissioner’s Office (ICO)
